OMG! I recently attended an Aloette Show (I had never heard of them before) and was really blown away by the liner they have. I've always been a liquid liner girl, but they due tend to chip and crack. And i would end up with little black specks all over my face.
Aloette has a powder liner which can be applied wet or dry. The demonstrator wet it when she showed it to us After it dried she let us all rub on the back of her hand where she put it. It just stayed where it was.
I purchased it and have been using it for several weeks now. It is my new best friend!
The down side is you can't purchase in stores, but if you would like to try it, email me for the demonstrators info.

MAC fluidline is really great...but for liner that will not budge try their Liquidlast liners. It will not come off with soap and water! You have to use either MAC wipes or and OIL-based eye makeup remover. It comes in a lot of different colors and kind of expensive ($16.50) but definitely worth it.
liquid eyeliner can chip though, so get waterproof eyeliner.
maybelline waterproof, liquid eyeliner is the best! I comes in the felt tip pen form (which is the easiest one to apply.. instead of a brush type thing). Its also easier to apply liquid eyeliner AFTER you put on mascara, you can kinda run the tip along your eyelashes.

TRY MAC FLUID LINE... it comes in like a small glass circular shape container and its like gel... you need to use an eyeliner brush to apply it.. IT WORKS REALLY GOOD TRUST ME it stays on ALL DAY and it doesn't SMEAR... go to MAC and try it before you buy it so you can test it out whether you like it or not... i never liked pencil you always have to reapply and it smears if your eyes water a lot
i liek liquid eyeliner, try sephora and ask an associate. they have some great water proof pencil ones too :}

My eye liner smears by the end of the day....?
so how do I make it stay in place without coming from work with just black smudges under my eyes?My eye liner smears by the end of the day....?
use a primer or try switchin eyeliner. Just sounds like you have a poor quality one. all eyeliner smudges a tad just because its not permanent and our eyes are naturally watery. Try Revlon, ive experienced the least smudging with this oneMy eye liner smears by the end of the day....?

I use the ColorTrend Mark eyeliner pencil under my eye. The makeup artist at Macy's taught me to take a brush and dab black eyshadow on top of the eyeliner. It sets it n longer and lasts a really long time. I love this little trick. I don't have to worry about fixing my eyeliner as often anymore
You can go about this two ways. Waterproof eyeliner, or a makeup setter. It is sold at costume shops and places where you buy stage make-up. It sets it and won't let it smudge or run at all! $2.99 I think at the wizard's chest in denver. you could call them and find out where to buy it online or elsewhere.

I use shadow instead of liner. Buy an eyeliner brush at Ulta or Sephora or a make-up store (its a special kind of brush with short brissles). Buy either a loose shadow or a pressed shadow in a color you like. Dip the brush in the shadow and smudge along your lashline. Not only do you not see a straight line of black or brown, but you can experiment with more colors and it lasts all day. You can also buy transforming liquid that you mix with a little bit of loose shadow to make liquid liner. You dip your brush in and smudge. Liquid or gel eyeliner will stay for 6-8 hours or more at a time, depending on the quality of the brand you use. It may be messy when you apply it to your lower lash line, until you get the hang of it, but you can always use q-tips to clean it up. Then, like someone else said, brush translucent or fair-colored loose or pressed powder underneath your eyes also.
My favorite, which never budges after even 12 hours, is MAC gel eyeliner. Make sure and brush a thin layer of powder underneath. That seems to help me anyway. I also carry powder and brush it under my eyes during the evening. I used to put a SMALL amount of baby powder under eyes, then flesh colored powder over that. But I am very fair. Good luck...

thats means your putting it to high, you should be putting it just underneath or bottom eleylashes, right now it sounds like your putting it on your inner eyelid, wichj is very bad because over ther night it goes behind your eye when it comes off, and it gets to the little crestb in the corner beacuse of over the night , or leaving it on for a very long time which is seriously not good.

Use liquid eyeliner, and apply foundation under and around your eyes before applying the eyeliner, and after. make sure to blend it well.

How do I prevent eye liner from smearing?

I have changed to liquid. It is much better than pencil and has proven me.
1. Before i apply the eyeliner i put concealer on eyes area
(beside it will give a better hold on shadow colorings, it will also prevent the liner to smear).
2. Once applied, ensure the eyeliner is really dry before you open your eyes.
3. Top the little exceeding concealer with transparent face powder. (i use brush, best on me)
4. If you find liquid isn't convenience for you to apply on, try to use black/dark grey eyeshadow and apply it by using liner brush (have diagonal cut at its brush edge).

I used to have the same problem when I used pencil eyeliner. Try Almay's gel eyeliner...unlike the pencil you don't have to sharpen it...to get more you just twist the tip. Also, products by Almay are hypo-allergenic which is always a plus. Good luck!
