I use shadow instead of liner. Buy an eyeliner brush at Ulta or Sephora or a make-up store (its a special kind of brush with short brissles). Buy either a loose shadow or a pressed shadow in a color you like. Dip the brush in the shadow and smudge along your lashline. Not only do you not see a straight line of black or brown, but you can experiment with more colors and it lasts all day. You can also buy transforming liquid that you mix with a little bit of loose shadow to make liquid liner. You dip your brush in and smudge. urban decay glide on eye pencil... its waterproof, and really smooth because it has moisturizer in it.. and it has VERY vibrant colors.... they are the best
I use PowerPoint eye pencils from MAC. They go on creamy, but are waterproof and long lasting. I'm not great with the liquid eyeliners, but there are some who don't budge at all.
