mybe try using a different color eye liner? as for top eyeliner, a soft shadow might work better for you? just suggestion, find out what works for you. other wise with eyeliner i just pull down the top lid, and gently apply as close to the eyelashes as possible../

when i first started using liquid i would put stick first and then go over it so i would have a clear outline other wise simply take out the wand and slide off exscess liquid eye liner and put it on, it's like painting but try hard to go it in your eye, it's hurts soooo bad.
wipe off excess drippy liner back into the bottle and put on upper lash line in small dashes going upward diagnolish. u know wat i mean. just do from the center of the eye to the outer corner.
also use a steady hand.
