Should you use your eye/pencil liner underneath or on top of your bottom eyelashes?

Most girls put it just on the bottom of your lashes, but that makes your eyes look droopy and unbalanced. Put it lightly on the top AND bottom, or if you're in a rush just put it on the top.

If you want a dramatic look, then apply the eyeliner both underneath and above your eyes.
I like oth on top and on bottom.
it depends on what look you are going for. if you want to extend your eyes line the top with the outer corners thicker and winged. if you want to make your eyes rounder then line the bottom. if you want to enhance your eyes, line the lower part with a dark brown or brown color and thinly line the top with black. you have to be careful because eyeliner when overused can look harsh. for a smoky look put eyeshadow on top and bottom then line top and bottom smudge until desired look is achieved. if you are goth then i guess you can line top and bottom.

you want to put the eyelines on top of your bottom lashes...putting it underneath will make your eyes look unrealistically big!
use liquid eye liner for the eye lid........ then brush the botom of youe lashes with mascara
You can do both, a co/worker of mine does both. It looks good she uses brown instead of black.
Nah. You do not need to emphasize those lashes. Just the top ones, to make them look thicker. Do the bottom lashes, and you'll either look like an Egyptian, a goth, or a racoon. Bottom lashes are overkill.
On top- I couldn't imagine trying to get under the lashes and keep the line straight-- on top is easy-

As a general rule of thumb, eyeliner should be applied as close to your natural lash line as possible. For most women, this is on top of the bottom lashes. Now on occasion if you're going for a truly dramatic look or a look for the stage it may be appropriate to thicken the line so that it extends below the lash line, but this is the exception, not the rule.
