First of all pencil, liquid or pen?
If its pencil you need to do small strokes, gently across your eyelid - if you mess it up smudge.
If its liquid switch to pen like Bourjois Liner Feutre. (Find it on ebay or big makeup shops) or in France.
Its easier to apply. The trip is to do small lines and layer them to your desired thickness.
Another option is go without. Its not strictly nessesary and using dark brown eyeshadow can look nicer if run over smoothly and in a nice gentle way, thick mascara too.
Eyeliner is a faf and if its messed up its sooo hard to deal with. I go without most the time and never put it above my lashes. Email me for more tips. bekimaynard@yahoo.comI cant put eye liner on my top lid, My hands are too shakey?
The fantastic thing about putting on eyeliner is it doesn't have to be perfect. Let it go everywhere! Then once you put it on, take your finger or a cotton swab or an eyeshadow wand and rub over the line, smearing up and out. This will draw out the corners of your eyes making them look bigger and will blur the line so it looks good and kind of gives you an eye-shadow without the eyeshadow! You can always apply eye shadow over it or keep smearing until it's pretty much all gone!
Another way to do it is apply (as usual) and take a slightly damp wash cloth put it over your finger and rub lightly over the eye liner, leaving just the thin line you want right against your lashes. That way you have a flawless line without all the darkening and coloring around your eyes if you don't care for that ';smokey'; look. :D
First, you need to prepare the skin, wash, moisturize then put a translucent powder or eye shadow on lid. In order to make the line smoother you need to rest the side of your hand on your face. If you just hold it out, you will have a much more difficult time . Start at the inner corner, and if using a pencil, warm it between clean, freshly washed fingers, to soften it. Remember to pay attention to how you end the stroke. Going straight out will look cat like, going slightly up will make your eyes look more open or more youthful. That's how we makeup artists do it.
I have the same problem
But what i do
Is with a eyeliner pencil
I lightly line the top eyelid just above the lashes
Really lightly
And then once I have a rough idea of where it goes
I line it in harder in the exact same spot
And if it goes wrong
Get a cotton bud
Dip it in some make up removal cream
And erase any mistakes you have made :)
But with liquid eyeliner
Do the same thing with the pencil
And go over it with liquid eyeliner
Its easy!
Practice makes perfect good luck :)
Are you using liquid liner?
If you are, try pencil, it works better for putting it on top lids.
When you put it on, stretch your upper eyelid until you can get it as close to the lash line as possible, and just draw a line straight across.
try using a smaller tipped pencil (Clinique has great ones) or use a darker eye shadow an buy a small tipped brush. Dip the brush's tip in water and then in the eyeshadow.
Rather than balance your elbow on the table, balance your hand on your face..
Use your pointer finger to stretch the bottom lid %26amp; try lining it then..Good Luck hun you may also want to try a powder liner..
try stretching the corner of ur eye that mite work. All u need is practise. You could try and find videos on youtube that show u.
just do it even if it goes everywhre and when your done wipe off the parts that go everywhere
