Does your eye liner go under your eye all the time?how do you stop it going under your eyes after an hour or?

when ever i apply my eye liner it looks fine , but after an hour or so my eye liner goes under my eye and looks horrid to be honist, i like wearing eyeliner as it makes your eyes stand out but have stoppted because of my problem. Any tips ???Does your eye liner go under your eye all the time?how do you stop it going under your eyes after an hour or?
I use Bourjois eyeliner. It's not too expensive, but it's a little hard to find (it's available at Sephora and at Duty-Free stores in airports).

Here are some tips:

1. Line INSIDE the lashline. Hold your eyelashes down and carefully make the line.

2. Do not apply eyeliner to lower lid. As you blink, the eyeliner on your top lid will smear on the lower lid, but it might not make it under your eyes.

3. Don't wear mascara on your bottom lashes. Most people only pay attention to your top lashes anyway. That could be what is smearing under your eyes.

4. Before applying eye makeup, put A LOT of powder under your eyes. Wipe some of it away after you are done applying the eye makeup. That will deal with any makeup that smudged during application. Continue to wipe away the leftover powder during the day as more eye makeup smears. The purpose of the powder is to catch the smears.

5. Wear as little eye makeup as possible. Obviously, the less makeup is there, the less makeup will smear.

I hope I helped!Does your eye liner go under your eye all the time?how do you stop it going under your eyes after an hour or?
i only use it on my upper lid because of the same reason...when using mascara apply it to the bottom lashes too and it helps make your ees stand out without the mess of liner
u probably have liquid eyeliner. i use linestylist by mabelline. it works wonders. lol! but if u want to continue using the same eyeliner you've got now-done apply so much pressure just lightly dab it. wen u done, blink a couple times and make sure it didnt spread.

good luck!
Benefit do a great Product called She-Lac, its kind of like a varnish that you paint on over your make-up. It works really well:)
Use a waterproof liner- most likely the moisture from your eyes is causing it to run. Every time you blink it could be sliding down your face.

If you don't already wear powder, you may want to give that a shot, too. Using either a brush or the side of the sponge or pouf that comes in the compact, try edging the powder up underneath your lower lashes while you look up.

You should also consider investing in a higher-quality liner. I like the Powerpoint line that M.A.C. puts out. It's a little more expensive than brands commonly found in drugstores, but because the colors are much more vibrant and you don't have to keep reapplying it, it lasts much longer.
i used to have the same problem now i use an eyeliner pencil then go over it with a liquid eyeliner it seems to act like a sealer.

Hope this helps xXx
buy an expensive eyeliner , works for me !!
Try a waterproof liner of even a waterproof eyeshadow and apply with a damp cotton bud ;)
There are several reasons your eyeliner is running.

1.The brand may be part of the problem. If you are using a drug store brand, step up to a department store brand.

2. Placement: are you lining the inside of your eye or under your lashes? (Don't line the inside of your eye on a daily basis, this is bad for your eye)

3. How heavy of a line are you drawing?

4. Are you using an eye cream that is too heavy for your eye area?

5. Are your eyes watering alot and are you rubbing?

6. Liquid liners are great, but keep those to the top lid and use a pencil on the bottom. Nobody will know the difference in the two types of liners.

Hope this helps you.
nope not eyeliner but mascara does sometimes
Id love to know.... i have the same problem, about 3 hours after its all flaking off under my eyes and makes me look like ive had no sleep or look like a panda.

Ive found that it kind of helps if you uses liquid liner that is, if you apply it more than once, apply it...wait till it dries abit then apply it again after
Well the same happened to me until i asked my mom for help, she tolled me to burn the tip of the liner a lil bit and then when it cooled a lilbit not too much to apply it. trust me if you do it right it'll work 4 u too!!!!!!!!!!!!
use waterproof eye liner then a sealant like benefit's she-laq. then it won't budge until you use eye makeup remover.
i usually take the eyeliner put that on first then take a small small small makeup brush use the tip of it and use black eyeshadow over top of it or i just use the eyeshadow with some visine to set it i hope i helped good luck=)
waterproof will also droop down under your eyes when your sweat and it'll be harder for you to wipe it off when this does happen so get smudge proof instead and the trick is to apply the same shade eye shadow as your eye liner and apply it right over the eye liner. It gives your eye liner something to hold on to and the eye shadow absorbs the oil from making the eye liner bleed. It's what I was told to do and have been doing. this prevents it really from bleeding under the eyes. I agree it does look horrible and it's irritating to keep on applying eye liner. Do what I suggested and I promise you it will work. Another tip is to apply foundation under your eyes and on the top of your eyes as well and this just makes your eye liner stay on longer even more. Use an angle brush to apply the eye shadow over your eye liner. Well try it and see what you think.
I wore eyeliner yesterday, And i was mostly in the sun for about 10 hours straight because of an amusment park helper, anyways, I think the sun kinda melts it if your outside.

I wouldn't reccomend waterproof, it is way harder to get off, thinking about it, would you rather have something that comes off or not?

Anyways, if it messes up, no worries. Just about every 2 or 3 hours, go to the bathroom and take it off, apply it again. I gently wet Qtips with cold water and it comes off really easy.

Stay beautiful. :]
Try putting waterproof mascara to define the lower lid instead of using liner there
