Is it safe to do this? I have always put my eyeliner on the inside part of my eyelid, right on the lash line. I tried putting it below but it makes me look stupid because my eyes are already big. I recently got an eye infection, and I don't want it to happen again. How can I get eyeliner to look like that, without putting it there? I suck at makeup!

yea...you got an infection because of the eye liner on the inside of your lid..try putting it under your eyelash on the bottom lid.it closes the eye up a little. you need to replace all your eyeliner and mascara if you had an i infectionEye liner on the inside part of your lower lid?
That is how I do it. I think it is fine.
This is not safe, and it looks bad (honestly). Try to get your eye liner under your eyes, right at your lash line. With practice, you can get it so close that you won't even bat an eyelash (ha ha... um).
Putting your eyeliner in your eye lids actually makes your eyes look smaller!!!!! That part of your eye isn't meant to be touched.
Sit in front of your mirror, and practice putting on makeup in all sorts of ways!
It's perfectly safe to apply eyeliner on the inside of your eyelid. Just be careful not to poke your eye. Buy good eyeliner so that it doesn't leak into your eyeball throughout the use of it. Take off any excess eyeliner once you've put it on, that will avoid it leaking into your eye. You're making a great choice to place eyeliner there b/c of the size of your eyes. It usually makes your eye look smaller and sexier when you put it in the eyelid. People usually do it above the eyelid to widen the eye.
Another alternative to actual eyeliner, is the smokey look. Get black eyeshadow and a good thin makeup brush that you can spread the eyeshadow right on the eyelid (not inside). It gives it the same effect and looks great. I do this when I'm sick of applying the eyeliner inside the eyelid.
The only other alternative is to get it tattooed. I don't recommend this just in case you change your mind in a few years that you don't like the look :p
Hope this helps!!!
i always put it there..but, it comes off really easily..
:)
yeah it is ok to do that....if you got an infection though like pink eye you need to get new makeup..very contagious
i used to always put mine on my inside lid, but it comes off so easily. i thought it looked stupid on the outside too, but after a while i got used to it and it looks fine.so maybe just try it for a while. other people probably won't think it looks weird.
as a makeup artist I think you do not need to put eyeliner there- those big green eyes do not need it (the purple shadow is a good choice tho) If you use mascara you will not need the liner, the color of the mascara will create its own line on your lash line.
Good Luck
First off, I think you should probably wear a dark brown liner because the black is a little too harsh. You could try just using mascara on your lower lashes. It will do the job of lining you lower lid just a well if you use enough at the roots. Try wiggling the wand horizontally. This is coat them better. Don't use too much though. Clumping is NEVER good. Good luck =]
its fine, just put it as close to your lash line as possible, and dont put it on too thick. you can create the look without actually doing it...you wont get an infection from your make up unless maybe its old...make up is designed to get in your eye from time to time.
okyou got an infection beause of your eyeliner , bow i know its weird but blowdry your eyeliner beofre use , and always sharpen it beofre use even if its sharp this gets rid of bacteria, you can feeze it a little for better hanedling, now you can smudge to make it look better and apply a thing layer of darkish eyeshadow below the lashes .and yes it is safe
Yes it is safe to put eyeliner in the inside of your lower eyelid, but don't use a regular eyeliner. Find an eyeliner called a ';KHOL'; which is made specifically and only for the inside of your lower eyelid. You can find these anywhere at drugstores, supermarkets and department stores. If you want to create more of a smokey eye/darker look on the lower lid, just find a black or dark brown eyeshadow and apply it like eye liner, but on the outside contour of your eye. Good luck!
im sure this has already been said, i just dont bother to read the other answers, but..
you got an infection because you put liner over your tear duct. try and stay away from that area.
