Red Eye Liner. Yes, I said Red?

Okay, about a few days ago my friend gave me a tube of red liquid eyeliner. I want to try it out, but I鈥檓 not too sure I can pull it off. I have black hair, light brown skin(almost white) and brown eyes if that helps. I just want to know if I should try it and if so, how the hell do I apply it? Don鈥檛 think I鈥檓 a complete idiot, I know how to apply eyeliner, but it's red, like blood red. And, I don't think it'll look good if I over do it or barely use it. So any suggestions?Red Eye Liner. umm, well black usually looks better, but blood red.


well, try it out at home, and see what's it like, and take a picture and then show it to your friends and ask for their opinion.

Is it liquid eyeliner or a kohl pencil? Most people use it as a kind of background behind the black or eyeliner. In other words, you'd put it on your upper lids (and lower part of the eye, depending how you like to wear your eyeliner) first, then the black eyeliner over it. But yes, as the other people said, it doesn't go well with any skin color, but give it a try!
I saw a cashier in K Mart last week, %26amp; she was weairng red ';eyeshadow'; %26amp; she looked like a darn zombie. Trust me, if you wear red eyeliner, you'll look like one too. I don't like eyeliner period, nor do I wear it. I wore it once in high school %26amp; got teased about looking like a raccoon. I never wore it again. I don't think it looks good on anyone, because it's not natural looking nor is it attractive. You already said you don't think it'll look good if you overdo it, so why wear it at all?
I also have used red eyeliner. But alone indeed it does make you look deathly ill. But if you also use another color such as brown or black lightly around or over it, it can look look different and classy at the same time.
if you want to use it just apply it to your top eyelids
hey ive never used red eyeliner before but i say go for it! theres no harm in trying, use a spare night to try it and have some good make up remover at the ready :) I think it sounds really cool :) where did she get it? Lol and as for your appearance it sounds it will go really well - especially with your black hair and as your skin isnt COMPLETELY white it sounds like it ont be too drastic to start with. And as for how much, just experiment, try it out and vary the amounts and you'll soon see whats good for you

Gah, I did that in high school...I was a little gothic and liked how it made me look deathly ill...so I'm going to say no, because I'm sure you don't want to look sick.

If you wear red liquid eyeliner you're going to have to use a mascara that goes with it else it'll look weirder than it already will look.What you could do,is get black eyeshadow and after you've put the liner on put that on and see what it looks like.I'm gonna go search the internet for a red liquid eyeliner now!
